We organised our first meetup on ‘Pain Points in Financial Services’ on 21st July in Delhi. the main agenda of the meetup is to talk about the different problems faced by consumers while dealing in financial services. The 2 hour session is moderated by Life-wealth coach ‘Harsha Garg’ of Wealth Gym. The meetup was attended by employees, traders and students from delhi with the eagerness to learn about financial products, savings and investing.
The meetup started with the short introductions of the participants and our moderator Harsha Garg.It was followed by discussions on “How money moves?” for an individual
with stretched discussions on How to achieve money goals both short and long terms.For e.g. one participants wants to save money to participate in fitness competition that is going to held after 3 years which requires good diet, gyming and registration fees for competition
This leads us to talk about how much one should save from their earning to pursue personal and family goals.Some says 50%,or other says 10%.After the long discussions, we found it’s more about personal choice and their goals and dreams rather than a fixed number
Then we talked about what to do with savings? How to invest and grow ssvings? We talked about traditional ways of savings like giving unsecured loans to persons at higher rate of interest which is very prevalent in India.As this long topic, we concluded our meetup at this point with intention to talking about it further in next meetup
